A half-day workshop for business owners who want their work and life to make sense again.

When work–life balance stops making sense, it’s usually not because you need better boundaries, it’s because things are misaligned.

It’s alignment, between what matters, how you spend your time, and the role you actually want to play in your business and life.

This small, in-person workshop creates space to step back from the noise, think clearly, and realign your priorities, without hype, pressure, or generic advice.

You’ll work quietly and independently using the Life by Design workbook, guided by a structured process that helps you reconnect the dots between life and business.

This is a small, in-person session designed for people who want space to step back, think clearly, and realign priorities across life and business.

It’s calm, structured, and practical, not a talk, not group coaching, and not a productivity sprint.

Not sure if this is for you? Read on.

Why this workshop exists.

This workshop is for business founders who:

  • Feel successful on paper, but slightly misaligned in reality
  • Are busy, capable, and carrying a lot in their head
  • Want space to think, not more tactics or motivation
  • Are ready to look at life and business together, not as separate problems

You don’t need to be stuck, burnt out, or at breaking point.
Many people come simply because things have grown and the old way of operating no longer fits.

What this session isn’t.

This workshop may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:

  • Productivity hacks or time-management systems
  • Group coaching or open sharing sessions
  • A motivational talk or inspirational event
  • Someone to tell you what to do

The work here is reflective, practical, and individual.

What happens during the workshop.

This is a calm, structured half-day designed to give you space (mentally and practically) to step out of the noise and look at the bigger picture.

You’ll work through the Life by Design workbook, which guides you to explore:

  • Where your time and energy are really going
  • The roles you’re playing in life and business, and which ones feel out of balance
  • What matters now, not just what feels urgent
  • What needs to change to bring work and life back into alignment

Most of the work is done individually, at your own pace.
There’s no pressure to share anything you’d rather keep private.

I’ll guide the process, offer prompts and examples, and be available throughout the session to help you think things through, without coaching you in public or pushing you in any direction.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clearer view of what’s misaligned
  • A grounded sense of priority
  • And a practical reference you can return to after the day.

What’s included.

Your place in the workshop includes:

  • A half-day, in-person Life by Design workshop
  • The Life by Design workbook, printed and yours to keep
  • A small group setting (8 people) to protect focus and depth
  • Light drinks and biscuits during the session
  • A complimentary 30-minute follow-up session to explore anything that surfaced on the day

The session is intentionally kept small.
Not for exclusivity, but to preserve the quality of thinking, reflection, and facilitation.

This is not a scaled event.
It’s a considered space to pause and realign.

About the facilitator.

The session is led by Nuno Soares, business coach and founder of by.Design.

Nuno has spent over 20 years leading and scaling businesses, is the author of Digital Transformation, and is a certified ILM Level 5 coach. He works with business owners and leaders who are done with firefighting and want clarity, alignment, and calm leadership.

This workshop is built from the same framework used in his 1:1 and long-term client work.

Final thought.

Life doesn’t get clearer by accident.
It gets clearer when you make space to think.

If that’s what you’ve been missing, book your place.
